Here are directions of how to clip a play when breaking down your video for Video Submission.

We recommend VLC Media Player, as it has become a key part in bettering our game in the past.  VLC Media Player has capabilities that are very beneficial to officials.  Key abilities such as slow motion forward and reverse has become pertinent to making changes in our to better our performances.

VLC Player is available in MAC OSX as well as Windows.  It is also available for Android as well as iOS for your mobile devices.

Begin by downloading and installingthe Player from the official website @ www.videolan.org. 

Step 1: Open VLC and open the menu labeled View. In this menu, select Advanced Controls.

Step 2: Open the video you wish to take a cut from. Use the slider to navigate to the time you wish to begin recording. The Frame by frame button, located to the right of the Advanced Controls, will allow you to pinpoint the exact time you will wish to begin recording.

Step 3: Press the Record button on the left end of the Advanced Controls. Once recording is toggled, press Play and allow the video to play through the section you want saved. At the end of the desired section, press the Record button again.

The video cut will be saved automatically by VLC is saved in the Videos library folder on your computer. Share your clip with for feedback in the the Video Breakdown section of this site.
